Evergreen Chamaecyparis (False Cypress)
×
Color Name: Blue Moon
Blue Moon features bright blue foliage that adds a special color element to the landscape. Blue Moon has short, stiff branches that form a compact ball. It can be planted as a single color accent or in groupings for bright blocks of spectacular color. Blue Moon has a tight, tidy form that requires little to no shearing to maintain its globe shape. Dwarf and slow-growing at only 3-5" per year, this little eyecatcher is great in the lanscape or for a splash of year round color in a patio container.
Growing Tips: The Blue Feathers Cypress is very easy to grow in a well-drained soil of average fertility and full sun to part shade. We suggest at least 4 hours of direct sunlight per day. It is moderately drought tolerant but will appreciate an occasional watering during prolonged periods of dry weather.
